Nancy G Drage, a beloved resident of Fort Collins, passed away August 12th, 2021 from Parkinson’s Dementia. She was born May 2, 1939 in Davenport, Iowa and then relocated to California with her family where she lived many years. Her husband David Drage of 22 years had passed away 6 months earlier. They had a beautiful, loving relationship and are now reunited. She had 3 children, 7 grandchildren, and 8 great grandchildren. Nancy was known around the community as an artist, she won awards for her artwork and held offices for a local art association. She loved to teach art, meditation, and dance to adults and children. She was also certified as a Quantum Energetics practitioner using her therapeutic style in helping others learn about themselves and heal from emotional, spiritual, and physical scars. In the 70’s and 80’s she was the owner of 2 restaurants, Hemingway’s in Fort Collins and The Mustard Seed in Estes Park. She loved to play, hike, paint, cook, take walks, and spend time connecting with people. Her fun, loving energy was contagious. She was for years and still is a great inspiration to all her family and friends. She was truly unique and will be missed. Graveside service will be held in Fort Collins Thursday October 7th at 2:00 at Roselawn Cemetery.
