Maria Concepcion Castillon was born July 31, 1933 in Piedras Negras, Coahuila Mexico. She passed into perpetual light on July 5, 2021 surrounded by her family, in Fort Collins, CO. She was the eldest of 10 children, born to Felix Blanco and Juanita Fuentes. Maria married Elias Castillon Sr on April 23, 1950. Maria loved God, her family, singing, cooking and taking care of those she loved. She loved having and serving her family in anything and everything. She loved going to Blackhawk and loved playing Bingo. She and her husband Elias were migrant workers when they settled here in Fort Collins, Colorado in 1968. Together they had a total of 8 children. She is preceded in death by her daughter Blanca Estella, who passed away in August of 1991, her husband, Elias, who passed away in September of 2016, as well as two sisters, Jesusa Longoria, Juana Del Toro and two brothers, Daniel Blanco and Guadalupe Blanco. She leaves behind 7 children, Elias Jr (Valerie), Eloy, (Melanie), Johnny (Terry), Gloria, Lucy, Sylvia (Albert) and Maria (Audi) (Ruben). She also leaves behind 27 grandchildren and at least 42 great-grandchildren and several great, great-grandchildren.

 

Per her wishes, there will not be a viewing or funeral. Her family will spread her ashes as instructed. In lieu of flowers or donations, please hug and love on one another for as long as you can!

I loved Maria. We said prayers every time I had to draw her blood. I have missed her so much since I retired from UCH drawing blood.  My thoughts and prayers are with all the family. Cindy Sullivan

Tia Conchie i thank u for loving me & my kids so much & teaching me the importance of loving each other.  I Loved when we would have our family reunions & ur were so happy 2 b around ur family!!  u would remind me that you would show me with your fingers the letter V  (which meant u were on vacation!!)❤❤🌹
