Henry Elischer, age 92, of Wellington, Colorado, passed away July 13, 2021 from heart disease.
Henry was born on February 6th, 1929 to Leopold and Rose Elischer in Chicago, IL. After graduating from High School in June 1948, he went on to serve in the United States Air Force, and ultimately working as a master electrician and member of the Union of International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW) for 38 years.
He met his beloved wife Eileen, and they were married in 1955. And went on to have five children, Charlie, Cindy, Carrie, Curt and Clint. Henry enjoyed family life.
After retiring in 1991, Henry and Eileen enjoyed living in the southwestern United States. They also traveled throughout the United States, and enjoyed many wonderful winters in Texas and Florida. They eventually settled in northern Colorado and celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary in 2020.
Henry was predeceased by his mother and father, his beloved wife Eileen, his brothers Cornelius, Leo, William, and sisters Edith and Eileen as well as his son Charlie. He is survived by his children Cindy, Carrie, Curt and Clint. He is the proud grandfather of Briana, Lucas, John, Sarah, Alexis and Ashley, and great grand children Wyatt, Eli, Mia Avery and Scarlett.
